    “There is a wage gap between men and women, with women earning $25 USD per month. In regard to expenditure for energy, currently a 4-person household can spend up to 60000 riel (around $15 USD) on electricity per month, and an 8-person household can spend up to 80000 riel (around $20 USD) per month on electricity, which is a substantial portion of their salary.”
