2024 Stakeholder Insights event

Tuesday, 23rd April 2024, 6-7:30PM (AEST) via Zoom

In this semester’s Stakeholders’ Insights event, EWB is hosting a panel discussion featuring industry and community experts from our EWB network. The speakers will discuss examples of how they worked through ambiguous situations in projects, such as uncertainty relating to managing scope, task coordination within teams, and also about making assumptions with limited information and many more.

We will also ask our panel to answer some questions we received from the EWB Challenge website’s Discussion Forum. In addition to learning insightful views on managing ambiguity in projects, you’ll walk away with practical recommendations and strategies to apply immediately to your Uni projects, and your future careers. Whether you’re still refining your project ideas or finalising your presentation for this EWB Challenge, we invite you to this opportunity to consult with the experts!

FAQs

Should I prepare for the event?

You don’t have to prepare for the event – however, we’d encourage you to think of some questions you would like to ask the guest speakers or EWB staff about our community partner’s work, or relating to your design idea.

Will the event be recorded?

Yes it will be.

I’m a course coordinator or tutor – can I attend the event?

Absolutely! We’d love to have you join in and ask a few questions to stimulate discussion, however, we ask that you leave the majority of the time for students to have the opportunity to interact with guest speakers and EWB Australia staff.

I have feedback about the event I’d like to share, who can I send it to?

We love to hear feedback to improve these types of events for future students and academics – please email it to ewbchallenge@ewb.org.au
