      To whom this may concern,

      our team in Online Group 3 have some questions for our project looking at design opportunity 4.1. They are;

      1. What is the current energy output available to the community?
      2. Is there any energy storage currently installed?
      3. Are there any known network restrictions for renewables?
      4. What is the energy consumption of domestic and commercial customers?
      5. What Area/land is available for infrastructure or industrial use? regarding energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydro?
      6. Is there any information on Wind activity and currents?
      7. what are the current early warning systems in place? Do you know if they are effective?
      8. Is the community center the emergency assembly point?

We would appreciate it if you could provide us with any information.

        Hi Isabell,

Sorry for the delay in response. I organised a list below to help your team conduct further research.

Most of your questions have been answered in the previous Discussion Forum posts. I simply used the search bar to find these existing topics:
        > energy consumption
        > energy storage currently installed
        > Ergon Energy’s capacity to manage/distribute electricity from wind turbines or other renewable energy sources

These TSIRC publications under the Resources page discuss land use strategies and considerations and the proposed location of future facilities, infrastructure and activities on Saibai Island:
        > Sustainable Land Use Plan
        > TSIRC Saibai Local Plan Code
        > Saibai Island Maps

Check TSIRC’s Disaster Management page, where they provided links to the TSRA dashboard showing heat stress risk, tides, current incidents, storm, flood, and cyclone warnings, and the Local Disaster Management Plan.

        I hope this helps!

        Regards,
        Jean
