      Good Morning,
      Could you please find out if there is any offical or regular weather monitoring on the island? Currently the Bureau of Meterology only record weather observations on Poruma/Coconut Island approximately 82 kms to the south east of Saibai so I am interested to know if there are any records kept locally on the island.

        Hi Dave,

        We’ve confirmed that there’s no official or regular weather monitoring activity based on Saibai Island, but they do rely on tidal readings from willyweather.com.au.
