Thanks for your question, and great to see that you’re trying to learn about the context more broadly!
As you go through your design process as part of the EWB Challenge, you’ll need to conduct broader research about the context and design areas beyond the resources we have provided on the website – we have over 30 project opportunities and therefore can’t provide detailed information about all aspects of these. Plus, it’s a great way to hone your research skills!
For your questions, I recommend taking a look at the Census Data for Cairns and Port Douglas, although recognising that this data is from 2016 so current figures may differ slightly.
