      I hope that you could expand on the information given in the brief for design area 6.3. Are there any digital information tools that currently exist? How are phones typically used on Saibai island? How often internet coverage go out?

        Hi Ioannis,

        There is currently no digital information tool with a Saibai-specific context. Consider broadly exploring initiatives for the Torres Strait. The Torres Strait Regional Authority (TSRA) delivers projects in partnership with Traditional Owners, communities, all levels of government, researchers and other partners. One example that you may find relevant when developing a digital tool is their Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) Project.

        Please check Priority Area Seven – Digital connectivity at TSIRC’s website to gain more understanding about their current involvement with Telstra.
