      Hi,

I’m curious as to how many critical river crossings there are on the road between Port Stewart and Coen?

If there are many, what is the longest and most important one during the wet seasons?

      Thank you,
      Joel

        Hi Joel,

Thank you for your questions. Unfortunately, I do not have an answer for these specific questions. I did reach out to my coworker who did the drive from Port Stewart to Coen a few weeks back and he had told me that from memory there were around 4-5 river crossings. It was the dry season when we went up so I have no information on which one is the most significant during the wet season. Nonetheless, I hope this is somewhat helpful.

        Kind regards,
        Evelyn

          Hi,

Are there any photos of any of these river crossings during either the wet or dry season? Or would you be able to provide some information on their location along the route from Coen to Port Stewart?

          Thanks heaps,
          Arion

            Hi Arion,

I have a few videos of the river crossings that we passed between Marina Plains and Running Creek on our scoping trip in July this year:

River crossing between Marina Plains and Running Creek
River corssing on the way to Running Creek

Unfortunately, I did not travel to Coen from Port Stewart so I am unable to provide information on that route.

But I hope the videos are helpful.

            Kind regards,
            Evelyn
