Barges and docking solutions

Hi,
I’m currently working on background information regarding section 3.1 of the design brief, and I have a few questions I can’t find information on.

1. Where are we building our solutions? The design plan indicates how the current marine access is in poor condition, so are we building on these pre-existing access points?

2. How many sites are we expected to implement our solution to?

3. Is the barge purely for commercial use? It says in the design plan that we are expected to consider a range of watercraft but doesn’t mention larger vessels that could be transporting goods.

Your question on the potential location and the number of sites to implement your solution will depend on your proposed design. For example, if you intend to design a modular structure, then the location may be more flexible than designing a fixed structure. I’m curious: What are your team’s initial ideas?

Project delivery and ongoing management are essential design considerations, and we’d like to see your team expand your thinking to our recommended design considerations to ensure that your design is holistic and appropriate to the context.
