      Hi,

During the wet season, which areas tend to experience the most disturbance and subsequent weed invasion? For example, are riverbanks particularly affected by flooding and storm surges? Additionally, are there locations where weeds have enough time to establish and set seed before access is possible in the dry season, making management more difficult?

      Thanks
      Krystle

        Hi Krystle,

Your assumptions are correct. Riverbanks, flood plains and wetlands would have favorable conditions for weeds to thrive in. As all of these waterways may be potentially inaccessible during the wet season they could all be locations where weed management is difficult.

        Kind regards,
