      How was the Saibai Island runway strip constructed? In relation to the sourcing of asphalt, the profiling machinery etc. Materials such as rubble for the base, where were they sourced?

        Hi Mateusz,

        According to TSIRC’s website, ‘Council is required to publish details of contractual arrangements it enters into that are worth $200,000 or more.’

        Check this list of large-sized contractual arrangements, which includes an airport-related project. In terms of general sourcing of materials for construction, check my answers to Peter’s question here.
