Access during the wet season

      Hi,

      Thankyou for all of your answers so far. I am interested in two things:
      1. During the wet season, are waterways a reliable alternative for accessing remote areas, or do conditions generally make boat travel unsafe?
      2. What areas can still be accessed in the wet season via vehicle?

        Hi Krystle,

        The waterways are not a reliable transport alternative during the wet season as the conditions are generally unsafe and unpredictable. Risks can include debris is rivers, cyclonic conditions etc. There is also no formal port infrastructure at Port Stewart.

        I would assume that between the upper camp and ranger base would be mostly accessible during the wet season.
