How many people should the flexible meeting space be able to accommodate?

        Hi Aidan,

Thanks for your question! The proposed purpose of the meeting space is outlined in the project brief: the meeting space should be able to meet the needs of users for varying occasions, including for educational purposes like school groups, partnerships meetings, the RIFTS fashion showcase, cultural awareness events with the public, or for internal staff meetings and activities. From this information, you can estimate how many people may be in attendance for each activity.

As such, the meeting space should be flexible and adaptable to each of these desires. This means that it may need to hold five people, and it also may need to hold 50+ (or maybe more!). The key is in the flexibility of the design – how can you make a meeting space that serves the various purposes outlined above?

I hope this helps, please reach out if you have any further questions.
        Rachel
