      Dear EWB,

      With regards to ‘6.3 Infrastructure to enable safe river access’, and the requirement to monitor the water pump, what exactly is this water pump and its purpose?

        Hi Zachary,

        For more context about how the villagers access the river, check out the project opportunities in Design Area 2- Water Supply.

        The existing river water pump located downstream, which is currently not functional, is for agricultural purposes.

        Another water collection point is on the sloping riverbank (see Interactives: 360 Site Walkthroughs, where we have video footage of Chen collecting water).
