What are the most common agricultural by-products, and non-organic by-products produced by the village?

        Hi Jonathan,

        Common agricultural by-products include:
        – Coffee husks
        – Rice husks/hulls
        – Coconut shells and wastage
        – Banana leaves and peels
        – Wastewater associated with crop production can also be considered

Additionally, I recommend researching crops that are commonly grown in Timor-Leste’s climate and the byproducts that may be associated with them.

Non-organic by-products include predominantly single-use plastic from imported packaged goods.

        I hope this helps.

        Kind regards,
        Evelyn
