Hello there,
I am representing Mackay Team 1 from CQU. We are focusing on design area 4.1: Clean, affordable energy for small coastal urban environments. Was there climate data (wind, solar exposure, tidal, etc.) specifically for Saibai island that is available for an extended period, preferably 20+ years. This would be greatly helpful as we couldn’t locate this ourselves.

This 2010 report produced by CSIRO, Marine and Atmospheric Research under the
contract to the Land and Sea Management Unit of the Torres Strait Regional Authority may still be useful to help you understand climate projections in Saibai Island: Observed and Future Climates of the Torres Strait Region.
