My team is wondering if there is an existing bore, if so, is it currently in use or due to the current quality of the water from the poor its not suitable for drinking water?

If there is no existing bore is that due to surveying finding that there is no suitable water table to tap into?

        Hi Danny,

There is no existing bore in Saibai Island. Their main source of water comes from the rainwater collected from the catchment area and is treated to make it safe for drinking. You can read more about Saibai’s water infrastructure at Sustainable Land Use Plan_Part 2 Saibai (2012) which is available in our Resources section.

        I hope this helps!

        Regards,
        Jean
