      Hi,

Just asking about 2.1 description where it say “be able to support aquaculture” and then is followed by “could be used to support small quantities of fish (a major source of protein in Timor-Leste) or alternatively, as a domestic water point for farming animals. if we decide to go with water for livestock, do we still need to be able to support aquaculture if we aren’t going to put fish in there?

        Hi Brodie,

The design of the household retention pond and opportunity/purpose you want to solve is up to you. If you want to create a water source for livestock, that is okay. However, have a think to see if there is a way you could combine this with some aquaculture so that locals can maximise the use of these household retention ponds.

        Hope that helps.

        Cheers,
        Anthony
