On our Yirrganydji Country page, we’ve indicated that Yirrganydji people reside in Far North Queensland, including Cairns, Yarrabah, and Kuranda. These are not all remote locations and most have great internet connectivity; therefore, they can access smart devices.
We can imagine that at least one in each household has access to these devices. Facilities like hubs/libraries are an option if available in the area (for example, see Cairns Libraries services).
I hope this helps.
EWB Australia acknowledges the traditional custodians of country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to them, their cultures and their land; to Elders both past and present; and to emerging leaders. We recognise that the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people never ceded sovereignty of what we call Australia.
