I’d like to throw this question back to you – Dawul Wuru imagined a trailer design would be the most appropriate and affordable way to carry the tank, what benefits would a custom truck design have over this? If you can come up with an appropriate, affordable design of a custom truck that can transport a dugong tank you can certainly pursue this route, however a custom truck is likely to cost a lot more. If by custom truck, you mean a modification of a standard, commonly accessible truck / ute with a tray / 4WD design, then this may be more feasible.
I’d encourage you to think of the benefits and drawbacks of a custom truck design vs a common trailer and how you can justify this in your design proposal.
