Hi, I was just wondering if you could tell us what the average water flow rate is in the households or what the pressure is like? I was also wondering if you could give me a number for the concentration of iron in the river because I can’t find any actual numbers anywhere. Thankyou

        Hi Zachary,

Unfortunately I do not have information on the flow rates. Based on recent site visits, bore data has recorded iron concentration in the river at 1.01 and 1.25mg/L. Iron levels have previously been recorded up to levels as high as 37mg/L which have been linked to seasonal low flows especially in the later months of the dry season, low-oxygen conditions and iron dissolution from surrounding sedimentary and alluvial material.

        Hope this helps.

        Kind regards,
        Evelyn
