Matt King - Project Facilitator and Technical Mentor, Sanitation in Challenging Environments - Vanuatu

Matt's placement supporting the Sanitation in Challenging Environments initiative with Live & Learn Vanuatu kicked off in November 2016 and is supported through a partnership between EWB-Australia and EWB-New Zealand. Lachlan Guthrie - Technical Mentor with Rainwater Cambodia - August 2016 to August 2017

Lachlan spent one year working with EWB partner Rainwater Cambodia as a Technical Mentor, assisting with the implementation of water supply and sanitation solutions in challenging environments. His roles included providing technical advice to improve upon existing designs, and facilitating internal capacity building through the development of knowledge-sharing resources. ATEC about to roll our first PAYGO-tech for biodigesters and expand across Asia

ATEC Biodigesters (ATEC), an Australian Social Enterprise, who's origins came from the EWB Challenge has raised $1,600,000 in a Series-B equity roud to rollout the world's first PAYGO (pay-as-you-go) model for biodigesters as well as expand its operations from Cambodia to Bangladesh. The investement was made by a consortium of investors, led by ENGIE Rassembleurs d'Energies and consisting of Foundation Ensemble, IIX Growth Fund and Phitrust Asia. You can read more here.
